'16-'17 - Right side info screen on gauge cluster changes background

I noticed that the background on the info screen in the gauge cluster changes. It might changes depending on the weather.
This morning it looked like a snowy road background (see image) it was flurrying on my drive.... yesterday I noticed the background was black, the weather was dry.

Or maybe it has to do when the headlights are on/off...

Anyone else notice this on their GT/Signature?

So I took a serious look at mine and I DO see those lines, but quite a lot dimmer and only when driving through a car wash today. My background is pretty much black all of the time, I struggled to see those lines, but they are there dimly on mine.

And to confirm, I checked this morning when it was, in fact, snowing outside. The display did not change. Later in the day and evening it remained the same. No change.

Perhaps you have an overzealous back light.
