bluetooth connectivity ?

after discovering that the usb inputs gave a crap charge to my iphone i decided to put a charger in the cig adapter - plugged in this morning (first use) and just left the phone plugged in inside the armrest figuring this should be a non-issue...wrong, for some reason the bluetooth wouldn't discover the phone...ok figured no biggie take it out of the center console - nope, still not discovering, tried plugging back into usb port - that works, but bluetooth keeps connecting/disconnecting...hard reset the phone - nothing...tried re-pairing - won't connect...eventually had to do a full reset of the infotainment and then re-pair the phone which finally got the job done

curious if anyone has experienced similar issues

I have had this same problem since new. Its one of the many issues with this car. The dealer refuses to change out the unit even though they have seen the issue at hand. Good luck.
