The latest Car & Driver magazine, for the 3rd year in a row proclaimed Mazda as the only manufacturer in the world to make two different models of cars that made C&D's top 10 list for at least 2 years in a row. And while the list is limited to cars, only, it should be noted that virtually every vehicle in Mazda's lineup beat all of the best in its respective class in comparison tests throughout 2016.

What is amazing that Mazda, as the smallest company, sells far fewer cars than giants like Nissan and Honda.

Congratulations, Mazda for making the best bang-for-the-buck "driver's" vehicles.

In addition, every single Mazda model is recommended by Consumer Reports...their entire product line up. Thats very rare for a manufacturer to have a 'Recommended' for every model in production.

I've noticed that CR now believes Audi is reliable enough to recommend. Give them a few years to knock down that reputation. Really, the only way for Mazda to be the best in class in CR's eyes is to add sound insulation (as they did with the CX9) and magnetic shocks (similar to what GM uses in some of its cars). My MX6 GT had electronically adjustable shocks - the best of both worlds, so to speak. Car & Driver values handling, steering response, braking, and acceleration above a silky ride and tomb-like silence, so Mazda tends to trounce the competition when compared by C&D's evaluators.
