Rear view cameras

So, since i am in the process of sound deadening and insulating the wifes new mazda5, i want to add a backup camera with a auto dimming rear view mirror and monitor unit. There's a lot of different brands that I have never heard of. Lots of price points as well.

So, what is a good, simple, reliable, and inexpensive setup?

Kind of late to the party but Gentex is the best mirror as its used by many OEM's. I think you have more options for cameras but I had gone with a Sony and it worked for 6 years with no issues. Never took on water but it did seem to get a little hazy towards the end.
