2016 Lamin-X (or similar) headlight protection film

I have had great success with Lamin-X on past cars. The CX9 seems to have much more rounded headlight lenses though. Not sure how easy it will be unless you get it nice and warm with a blow dryer. The film is really thick. As far as how it works, I think its pretty good at keeping the lenses from getting foggy / yellow. I had it on my Audi wagon for years and the lenses stayed clear & shiny.

I had Xpel film installed on my headlights while it was in for partial coverage.

It's worked well on other car headlights in the past.

Seems to be mix review on this topic. Reading other sites, ppl been told not to do it from installers because it hard to get off and it would damage the headlights.

What does that film do for the optics of the beam coming through the lens?

I've had the WeatherTech LampGard clear lens covers on my 2012 CX-9 for over three years. It's almost impossible to tell that they're even there with the naked eye. They've done a great job so far.
