2014 CX-5 AWD Touring
So just brought home a CPO Touring without NAV installed. I have been looking around here a bit and trying to see what the deal is with Android Auto other upgrades to the infotainment system. Anyone car to advise me on the options here? I don't think I want to spend big cash on a Nav system that sounds like it's not worth while. Looking for how I can get navigation and more sophistication out of the system.

Thanks in advance,

Epp

I doubt it. Mazda is not very "techy". Bare bones basic is all you get with them when it comes to the inside of the vehicle.

Your only option is Android Auto on your smartphone and a smartphone holder.
I have a CD Slot holder + fast charger.
For me it works pretty well.

OEM Android Auto support has not been even announced for 2017 ...
For 2016 infotainment you can get a hacked Android Auto version.

You would have to get an aftermarket HU. Pretty much anything upgrade in every respect, especially if you don't have Blose speakers

I have a 2014 Touring and what ALafya is saying here is correct.
