2013 CX-9 GT AWD Pearl White / Sand
Now that we have our new 2013 CX9 in Pearl White (Ghost Rider), there are a few spots that need some touch up paint. Has anyone used the Mazda product? Aftermarket? Some of the aftermarket products have a 3 part process. 3 different paint pens, one for the base, one for the pearl and one for the clear. The Dr Paint chip site has a disclaimer for this particular paint saying that their product does NOT contain the pearl effect. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I've used the Mazda pen on my 2016 machine gray. Found the part number and bought it on eBay. Works good. Won't be at the same finish as factory obviously, but it disguises scratches pretty well.

The touchup paint sold at the dealer is a glorified Pentel whiteout pen. It's crap. I got one free as part of the car deal and it's horrible to apply.

Go find the older style brush in lid type ones on ebay. As painful as it is putting it on with a brush, it's a million times better than the stupid whiteout pen crap
