Aftermarket power door lock actuators

Hi everyone. Forum noob here, and I have searched extensively and found lots of great info, but I have a question. I have seen some people replace the gears in broken lock actuators, and I have 3 that are bad. I was debating on replacing them all (would make the car nice to have them all work, even though the key works just fine in the driver and passenger door).

Anyway, I found some on ebay:

and was hoping anyone can tell me if they have had any history with these non-OEM ones, and if they were decent (and somewhat reliable)?

Thanks!

Decent price. OEM = about twice that at about $40 each. Give them a try. Beats paying $60 for 4 new same weak plastic gears and having to take apart all the actuators to put them in. There used to be some metal gear replacements but not sure where to find those any more. I might take apart actuators to swap in metal gears but wouldn't for plastic. Might as well just replace whole actuator based on the pricing.

This is supposed to be updated stronger plastic gear..............

I would think OEM would be more than $40 apiece. I got an Import Direct branded one at O'Reilly and it was $50 or so.

Don't mess with the replacement gears. I tried that first and the new gear did not match the old, broken one closely enough, so I went to O'Reilly and replaced the whole actuator.

onlinemazdaparts dot com oem prices were like $42 and $45 each depending on which door. Haven't checked lately.
