Tie Rod end

:
2007 Mazda CX-9 Touring
Has anyone replace their tie rod ends ? What brand did you use and how hard was the replacement? All input would be greatly appreciated.

I would also like to know. Although, I'd probly just go oem since they aren't all that expensive to begin with. I'm at 93k. Just took a 3 hour each way road trip last weekend and it seems like the steering is still pretty good on my 2008, but not 100% as tight as it was several years ago. New lower control arms (thanks Mazda!) helped for sure. Those tie rod end pullers are dime a dozen at Harbor Freight.

you don't need a puller you can just wack it with a mallet. I had mine installed for 40 bucks. I bought a moog at rock auto. It has the grease fitting which makes it possible for me to put in grease. I think that is a lot better than a sealed unit.

i used moog on my ranger. i also just wacked it with a mallet or hammer. i also like the grease fitting.
