Newbie Purchase Questions: window tint and mudflaps

@JSB33...how did you affix them? longer fender screws? double stick tape?

I added truck mud flaps to my VW. I made a template and then used the two screws already in the fender liner to secure the flaps to the wheel well. On the CX-5, I don't see actual screws, just two plastic push tabs/fasteners.

What is behind the wheel well in those spots? Is there a nut or nylon fastener I can put a screw in to or will I need something special to affix mud/splash guards to the front and rear?

I guess worst case, like you, I can get the OE guards and then augment them with after market flaps/guards.
