2006 Mazda6: Existing low beam lamp not H1. It appears to be an HID. How do I remove?

I am trying to replace a low beam lamp on my 2006 Mazda6 Sport Wagon. After watching numerous videos on YouTube, I have removed my front left wheel, removed the wheel-well splash guard, and have accessed the rear of the low-beam "tunnel". What I found was not the spring-clipped H1 base and mounting configuration shown in all the videos. Instead, I was met by a rounded square connector displaying a high-voltage triangle and the text: "05.12.07" (see attachment 01) Upon removing that connector, it revealed the back of what appears to be an HID lamp base. (see attachment 02) Can someone please identify the connector? Also, can someone please tell me how to disengage and remove the bulb so I can replace it? Thanks! 2006 Mazda low beam as is 01.jpg2006 Mazda low beam as is 02.jpg
