Mazdaspeed6 wheels on CX-5

Hi everyone!

I got my 2016 CX-5 GT this spring. I had a Mazdaspeed6 before. I still have the oem stoxk 18inch wheels. I would like to use them for my winter setup.

The speed6 wheels are 18x7 ET55 with the same bolt patern as the CX-5.

Should I care about the 5mm difference in the offset since the cx-5 have 50mm offset.

Maybe I should use 5mm spacers?

What do you suggest?

5mm is less than 0.2 inches so I would not brother with any spacers. Ed

They fit, it will just look even more silly than the oem offset.

Yeah the OEM offset looks silly enough already, I'd put at least a 5mm spacer on

Counterpoint:
Looking good is fine but functionally, the extra offset will allow the tires to fling more slush onto the sides of the vehicle, even with the woefully inadequate front splashguards installed. YMMV.

Mazda 6 wheels on CX5

I also found an older set of Mazda 6 wheels. I was torn on the offset, mine are a 60 offset. I don't see any rubbing and not hearing any noises.

They are 17" x7" with 60 offset (the questionable part!)
