Hello Fellow CX 5ers.

I'm not from your region but since there is no adequate forum where I live I had to come to you guys.

Bought a used CX 5 2015 about 7 months ago from the local dealer. They said it was a demo car and had 17,000kms on it. Now I have a strong suspicion that the km reading has been tampered with. Is there a way to find out if the reading has been tampered with?

Secondly is there a contact in Mazda (besides my local Dealer) that can give me a history based on the chasis#?

Would appreciate any feedback from you all.

Saw one website where for 50 usd you can get and obd device to set the mileage to whatever you want.

The shop is in malaysia.

So if the car drives old then it is surely old.
