I ran 245/65-17 Bllizzaks last winter on Kia wheels, and the car drove great. The Kia wheels, which I already had, are the same lug circle, lug size, number of lugs, center bore diameter, and offset, as well as a very close weight rating.
The old myth of narrower tires having better grip in snow has been debunked. There's nothing wrong with slightly narrower tires, but nothing great about them, either (except maybe the price).
