I've had these seat covers on for about 10 months. I was cleaning my car today and decided to take the seat bottoms off for a good cleaning. I was surprised to see how much dirt was underneath the covers. Not sure if it is doing more harm than protecting. The dirt was imbedded deep into the seat material. It took a long time to get the dirt out with my Oreck handheld and a cleaning cloth.
I will put them back on but will make sure I take them off every month.
I also see that mazda sells replacement seat cushion covers. Although it would be a long time down the road. Would these be something I could replace myself?
