Weak Headlights

I have 2012 AWD Cx-9. I never saw such a great suv with such low intensity lights.

Is it CX-9 , with weak light intensity ? or is something wrong in my car's headlights, which I should check for ?

To eliminate old bulb issues , I replaced all of them ( high and low beam ) recently with below mentioned bulbs but still the intensity is very low. I have another small car - Lexus CT200h but it's headlights are way brighter than Cx-9.

Can someone please tell me - is it only me ? If so - what bulbs you are using or how should I get rid of the weak headlight issue ? Any help is appreciated .

Not just you, mazda went really cheap with the CX9 optics for the projector lens, I put in aftermarket hid into the housing, it helps but can't fix crappy lens. Also put hid into the fog lights. That helps too but not much.

My HIDs are so bright...I seldom put on the high beams. What trim level do ya have? How clear are ur lens?

Lens are clear. Not sure about trim level. How to find it ?

Kulkarnipb, you have the non HID type, Bruce 66 probably has the OEM HID type. You can fit an aftermarket H9/H11 HID kit into your housing, it will fit, there's tons of space. Morimoto HID are pretty good but expensive. Also you can put a HID kit for the fogs, that should help brighten up the road, for the fogs you'll mount or zip tie the HID ballasts, no way to fit them like the headlight housing.

Thanks astriuminc. This helps a lot. I am going to order hid conversion kit from amazon and will post details further. Would you be able to give me your opinion for the below mentioned kit ? Thanks in advance.
