Hello everyone, I am seriously looking at purchasing a used 2014 Mazda CX-5 with the audio upgrade. While on the test drive, I plugged in my Apple iPod 6th gen and noticed that it didn't play right away. I ignored it to concentrate on my assessment of the vehicle and about halfway through the test drive, the iPod finally kicked in. When I got home, I googled that issue and noticed a slew of complaints about the system from 2013-2014 with nobody posting any kind of resolution.
During further digging, I did find an update to the infotainment software on Mazda's site and I was wondering if anyone here has had similar issues and if the update fixed them.
I love the car otherwise and having to use the Aux cord to play my iPod wouldn't be the worst thing to happen, but it makes me nervous.
