Runs surprisingly well but noise gets louder with acceleration sounds like its in the valve cover. Oil is full but kinda dirty. Looking to get this on the cheap but was curious what it could be. Any Mazda guys know this noise? I can get this thing for around $500 it has 102k and im expecting to dump a few bucks into it. Do these motors have any common timing chain or lifter problems? Doesnt sound like a accessory noise.
