I bought a set of +35mm offset 17x7.5 rims and am wondering if I'll have rubbing issues? It's on tein springs now so 1.8/1.5 lowering and currently on +38mm 17x7.5 wheels now without rubbing. Problem is I bought the car this way and am unsure if fenders are rolled or what. But I'm also lost with what tire size I should get I currently have 205/40r17 on now but I feel it's too thin of a sidewall for my liking. Trying to decide if I should get 215/40r17 or 205/45r16 or am I limited to 205/40r17? While on the +35mm wheels? Or please give me Your thoughts I don't wanna waste money thanks

i have 16x7 wheels 30 offset with 205-55-16 and i rub like a b**** on turns, but i own a sedan. lowered 2 inches on yellowspeed coilovers.

So im looking at possible rubbing I think but please anyone running a setup close to mine?

I'd get some new wheels. The stock P5 wheels are 16x6 +50. The most you wanna go for a stock P5 on 7.5s is +45 or so (+48 is perfect imo), unless you're going for the flush look. Then it's time to roll the fenders, get some coilovers, and buy an illest sticker. LOL. If The wheels you have now aren't rubbing, you definitely have rolled fenders.

7.5 wheels are an extra 15mm poked out, and the 35mm offset is another 15mm. That's over an inch difference.

Here's a pic of my P5 on 18x7.5 +48 with 215/40 BFG tires. No rub, no roll. I'm thinking 215 or something with more sidewall wont work for your car with those offsets though.

I guess I'm not fully understanding the offset. It 3mm difference from my already 38mm to 35mm it's really another inch poke out

I'm not sure if you can tell from this picture but it's hard to tell

If that wheel/ tire combo fits, just stick with the same tire size. A 3mm difference in offset is like the thickness of two quarters. Not a huge deal.

Well I have the option to return now.

I found some 17x8 38mm rims is that a better option

Also looks like rear wheel wells are rolled but fronts seem to be stock

Bought some 17x7 Motegi mr7 instead but what size tire should o get I have 205/40r17 could I go 215/40r17 or 205/45r17 something meatier?
