Well, I sold the 2.

Here was the last pic I took before the new owner took possession;


The 2 wasn't really replaced...I just simply chose to a different direction. This is what took the 2's spot in my garage;

A 1999 Porsche 911.

My 2 was a GREAT car. The new owner is going to love it! I know I did.

I've owned 5 Mazda's over the years and they've all been fantastic, fun, and enjoyable machines. I'm sure at some point down the road I'll be buying another Mazda.

That's a fairly large jump in both performance and price point! Best of luck with the new (to you) car.

No doubt. And, Thank you!

I was definitely itching for some more power since my Lexus had taken over the DD duties and my 2 became my 'fun' car. Obviously, the 2 is a fun car and extremely enjoyable to drive but, I just wanted more power and speed (I just couldn't wait any longer for a potential FI solution). And since I've never owned a Porsche before, I figured now was the time. This 1 owner 911 has an amazing dealer-service history so I'm hoping the 'fear' that kept me away from Porsche for so long won't be an issue with this car.

LOVE the 996 generation 911. I'm not even mad. lol I hope to scoop one up for myself one day.
