I have an 01 protege MP3, which I swapped the ECU for a MSP ecu, and afterwards the P2009 code showed up (Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low Bank 1). This code was not present on the previous, factory, ECU. Does this have anything to do with the fact the vehicle is not boosted? Or was my did my old ECU fail to detect this issue? Wondering if I should buy the new part or if the current MSP ecu threw the code because of the situation. Thanks.
