Hello! First time posting and already asking questions haha. Well my situation is that I have a base 2005 3 with no power locks or windows. I got a hold of a donor car from the same model year (main difference is mine is manual trans and base and donor is auto trans and power locks/windows) for a bargain price. Donor car was used to get parts to replace front end due to a crash, but since its full power (same color to boot!) I've been wondering if just changing the doors and connecting the pins from the door to the cabin do the trick and get power locks and windows?

I would guess that if you're changing the doors, the windows and locks would be powered by the proper cable harness connections. Of course, your current key fob won't work to remotely lock the doors.

I have access to the other Car's keys and key fob. The car still turns ons and 'runs' just has no front end lol (and damaged auto trans).

It looks like a fun project. (and a big upgrade)
