So, I own and 02, and 03 p5.
02 has a jvc deck, 03 pioneer.
Both have stock antennas.
Both suck. We live in a very rural area, about 60 miles from the nearest stations. My other cars have no problem with picking up our favorite stations, but the mazdas are all but incapable of doing so.
So, questions :
1. Are the stock antennas amplified? Because I didn't hook it up if so.
2. What works best to improve reception? Different mast? Whole different unit from another manufacturer? Signal boosters?
