The 2017 Mazda CX-3 goes on sale this July with minor updates to the equipment list. Base Sport models start at $20,860, including destination fees.

Prices for all models hold steady for the 2017 model year, although Mazda bumped up the destination charge sometime after the 2016 model was originally introduced. Base models come with 16-inch alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch Mazda Connect touchscreen, push-button start, keyless entry, a USB port, six-speaker audio system, and air conditioning.

Touring models start at $22,860 and bring standard 18-inch alloy wheels for the new model year. Other features include leatherette and cloth seats, heated exterior door mirrors with integrated turn signal lamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Adding the Touring Premium Package brings prices up $1,410, but youll get an upgraded BOSE seven-speaker audio system as well as satellite and HD radio, power moonroof, and a cargo cover.

At the top of the lineup once again is the Grand Touring, priced at $25,890. Look for LED adaptive headlights, leather and Lux Suede seats, navigation, automatic climate control, head-up display, and paddle shifters. For $1,170, you can tack on an i-ACTIVSENSE safety package that brings radar cruise control, brake support, lane departure warning, high beam control, automatic on/off headlights, and rain-sensing wipers. That package has dropped in price from last year when it was $1,920.

All Mazda CX-3 models come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 146 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The CX-3 comes standard with front-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive can be had for an extra $1,250.
