Bought this 2012 Honda Ruckus to build. Put about 10k miles on the stock engine before swapping over to the Gy6 150cc engine.
First I took off all the plastics and reflectors.
Then I put on new smaller turn signals, cut metal brackets off and the stock muffler and put a Briggs and straton muffler on. Also a new kickstand.
Tuned it along the way with new variator/weights, new air intake system.
Then I decided to swap for more power, gy6 150cc rather then the stock 49cc.
Then I was finished. Had to get a new mount, went with the fatty 7 Inch swap, shock (lowboy), exhaust, carburetor and new harness.
About to take the engine apart when I receive my new head/piston kit, new +2mm crankshaft, also new variator and clutch bell housing. Should put me up to 158cc.
