2015 Mazda6 Sport Grey
Sunday I was out driving on HWY US 129 across Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia borders. That was one of the most fun drives I've ever had!

I own a 2015 Mazda6 Sport, nothing done to it but it handled great around the 318 turns on the Tail of the Dragon. Highly recommend that route if anyone is looking.

Anyone else know any fun mountain roads around NC/GA mainly that they would recommend?

The Tail is great, but Hellbender (SR 28) is better suited to the 6. More flowing, rhythmic corners.

Sent from the wrong side of the tracks.

Looking at a map, Hellbender is the route just south of the Tail towards Almond? I ended up taking 129 all the way to Topton.

Might have to try the Hellbender next time I'm in those parts.

What do you drive?

I had a 2005 6s 5 speed hatch lowered on Mazdaspeed Hatch Springs and Bilsteins with Front and rear Racing Beat bars. It was sooooo much fun in those mountains. Now I have a 2016 3s GT 6 speed hatch that hasn't been there yet with no suspension mods..... Yet.

Sent from the wrong side of the tracks.

Lots of great roads in that area. War Woman Rd. 178 up to Rosman, NC. 215, 130, certain parts of 64.
