HELP, will remove roof rails reduce the wind noise when driving on highway?

So far, the best vehicle I've had for cross-winds was the Z06 or 370. The worst is probably my CX-5 or my G20 Infiniti. The Jeep was just more substantial, which counteracted the larger sail area it had. For a stock suspension, the Jeep was the worst handling. I honestly could not have lived with it OEM configuration.
