Hello,
I have a mazda 6 2004 (before facelift), without Bose audio.
Today I tried to add AUX trough the Media button, by using this link: http://forum.mazda6club.com/car-electronics/236895-chisss-almost-free-aux-cable-install-add-mp3.html
The instructions there say that I should connect pin 1 with 13, but I touched 15 by mistake. As a result I have no music.
The buttons of the udio system make sounds - I can change radios, increase or decrease the volume (you can see it on the display). But there is no music and I can not turn on the CD - when I press the button nothing happens.
My question is if you know what might have happened when I touched those pins? This exist is for the CD Changer and here is a scheme for it:
I touched 2A with 20. From what I understand, one is ground, the other ACC, so there was a short circuit. I don't know where something might have shorted - is there a fuse or something that might have blown ?
What could the consequences of my actions be, theoretically ?
Thanks in advance.
