I just bought an '07 Mazda6i hatchback - really liking it! One of the issues, however, is that the CD changer is broken. It's not top priority, but I was going to keep it simple and get a salvaged unit to replace it.
This unit comes as the whole center console, including the climate control dials. Some of the available ones have the "automatic" climate control dials, as opposed to the simpler, analog ones my car has now.
My question is: if I get a unit with the more advanced controls, will it work? It would be a cool benefit if I could upgrade the climate control dials along with getting CD capability back.
