2016 GT Cheap leather

Well, got my first hole in the rear seat. Took my dog to the vet for checkup and noticed when she got out a small hole made from her claws, which are kept really short. Very disappointed in the quality of the leather. I've had leather in all my other cars and Poda- my dog has been in and out of the back seat zillions of times and not even a dimple.

Yes she always sits in the back seat, to hard for her to get in and out of hatch.

Looks like a investment of some kind of dog cover is in order.

Still, first thing I'm very disappointed about.

Do you have the perforated leather? If so, your dogs paw probably got stuck in one of the perforations.

I have yet to see any leather that impressed me in anything but higher end vehicles. All the others just use leather-faced plastic or some such. I HIGHLY doubt Mazda uses real leather seats at the $30K mark.

It's a leather/imitation mix depending on which part of the seat is in question
