I just noticed today that two of my wheels have the clear coat peeling off. I haven't used any harsh chemicals on them - only cleaners designed for clear coated factory wheels or just car wash soap. No road salt or automatic car washes. The wheels have been waxed at least once since I've owned it (little over a year). My car is actually garaged 80% of the time with very little time out in the sun. My car is a 2015 GT with about 13k miles.
I was wondering if anyone else experienced this issue? Do you think the warranty will cover this?

Previous Mazdas: 1984 RX7 GSL-SE - 2004 Mazda3 hatch - 2008 CX9 GT
I have this problem on all four wheels.
Today, I had them replaced with new ones (well, they look as good as new).
Mazda has a backlog on the wheels (too many requests, I guess)
I waited 2-3 weeks for the delivery.
The important thing is: Mazda will replace them. Visit a dealer.

Mazda refinished mine at $0 cost at my dealer and they turned out AMAZING.
Please call 1800-222-5500 and Option 1176 to speak with Chris about your issue. He will get in touch with a local dealer you prefer and make the arrangements. Mazda WILL have your back on this. I am very satisfied with mine since they were done out of warranty!
Any Mazda dealer will/can take care of this well-known issue with GT wheels.
My adviser was not sure at first until his manager stepped in and said: "We can take care of this. Don't worry."
Oh, make sure you have them replace all four.
They came out of factory in the same batch and likely will have the same issue.
I had this same issue with my 2016 GT.. the dealer replaced all 4 wheels.
