Some kid ran a red light and I wasn't able to stop in time. Almost thought I was going to stop. My front end impacted their passenger side front wheel/quarter panel. 3 weeks and $4,750 later (all paid by their insurance) it's looking better than it did before the accident. New bumper, new (used) hood, new driver's side headlight (those are $1,020 a piece - no touching!), new latching mechanism... 3 weeks with a Hyundai Accent with no cruise control.
Got it back 2nd week in July, and last week my "oil change and tire rotation" cost me $700. Gasket was shot and was leaking transmission fluid (into the engine cover, so I couldn't figure out what was leaking and smelling), needed a front end alignment, rear brakes and rotors needed replacing.
(Trying to upload pic of accident damage.)
