What are the original plugs for mazda 5 2009 gt? Dealer quoted me $17 each.

I'm pretty sure they are either NGK or Denso Iridium plugs, supposed to be good for 100K. I put Denso in mine when i replaced them, and they were NOT $17 bucks apiece...

these were my originals... seriously..changed them at just a little under 100,000..

yup, mine were FoMoCo, too. changed them out last night for some Densos at ~$8 each from advance auto.

I recently changed the plugs in our 2008 MZ5 at 80K miles. The originals were Denso iridium. I replaced then with Denso Iridium TT from Rockauto for $5.62 ea. Car runs great!

Hopefully those are Denso Iridium plugs. Good for 100,000 miles and $20 each.

Aww, just regap and put them back in!

Even OE Volvo plugs (their turbo 5-cylinders won't run as well w/o them) are only $50/pack. $80 for 4 - that sucks. Must be about 2500% markup, or $70 free money for your dealer!!

I just changed mine back in the winter. Pretty sure I got the part number out of the manual. Purchased at any parts store.

What is the difference bet. Denso Iridiums 4718 and 5338? Accdg. to amazon they both fit mazda 5 2009 gt. Thanks.

I was finally able to have spark plugs replaced and they were Fomoco.
