CX-9 brakes on Mazda 6?

Greetings from CX-9 forum.
Anyone here know if any 6 and cx-9
front brakes share any interchange?
I am trying to determine if I can buy
a Mazda 6 big brake upgrade kit
and get it to work with my CX-9.
I am not aware of anyone who
makes a BBK specifically for the CX-9.
Thanks in advance!

I am posting this here in case someone
has dabbled with putting 9
brakes on there 6.

Have you looked at a BBK for a Taurus, Explorer, or Flex (or possibly even an Edge)? I'd bet you'd have much better luck finding something compatible if you looked toward the Ford side of the CX-9's ancestry.

The problem is with the knuckle.
big brake kits use their own caliper bracket which bolts to the knuckle. Cx7 and cx9 have interchange knuckles but no other models. Dang

Ford Edge, and CX9 both use the same OEM calipers and rotors. So a big brake kit for a Edge should work without any drama. And i found a few options listed for the Edge. ;)

Yeahbut, just because they use the same caliper doesn't necessarily mean that the caliper bracket mounts to the knuckle in the same way.

I guess I'm just the type who will lay out instructions for one to go fishing, but not to actually put them in the boat.
