I'd just like to thank you all for the information on these pages. I have a CX-5 with 120,000 miles on it that had a turbo failure.
I'm the fourth owner and had 70% of the cost covered due to being related to the camshaft hardening issue.
My car was manufactured in June 2013... I know right!
Well done on that. I just had the same issue at 85k and Mazda UK only offered 50% goodwill. However, literally weeks before that had fully paid for the replacement of the EGR.
As I do mainly short journeys, I am thinking of selling it and getting the petrol version. Does anyone know if the petrol engine has any issues?
