PATS Bypass Questions for Push Button Start/Remote start

My son broke off a house key in the ignition of my 02 Tribute. The new ignition cylinder is $80 from the parts store and I still need to have the keys reprogrammed or hav ethe cylinder repined for my old key. I've yet to contack a locksmith to get a quote but lets say its in the $75 -$100 range. Is there anyway to bypass the PATS system so I could maybe get a push button start or a remote start. I mean if I'm already going to spend close to $200 why not upgrade. What are my options here.
