Mazda6 SAT NAV TURN-BY-TURN Guidance Not working

Hello All

I am new to this forum and was Hoping if someone would be able to help me out.

I have a Mazda6 with the SAT NAV headunit. I am having a strange issue with the SAT NAV. Everything works fine upto when I search for the destination and start Navigation till the point it says "Guidance will start when you join the highlighted route". Now the issues are:

1. It does not do the Turn by Turn guidance
2. The Map Screen is defaulted to the full screen and even if I select the option for Half screen and Half Turn information it doesn't set to that screen.
3. Last but not the least; If I get off the Highlighted route, the unit does not RECALCULATE and show me a new route.

I have updated the Maps to Whereis V20 but still nothing.

I would be really thankful for all your help.

Mazda recently released a TSB to fix the entire stereo module, mostly having to do with poor bluetooth and ipod connectivity. You may consider bringing it to the dealer to have this service done in hopes that it will fix the sat nav as well.

The unit that i have does not have a Bluetooth. I did read some forums reding Unit having issues whilst the bluetooth is connected. But my unit does not have the Bluetooth.

As you suggested it might be worthwhile taking it to a dealer.
