Had to change mine in both keys.Car is 3 years old.Was hoping for at least 5 years.

Have a low battery indication on one of my keys that started at around 18 months old

Had to replace the battery in both keys as well. Lasted a little under 3 years.

Mine started to fail at around 2 years.

changed it under 1 year. Warranty took care of it.

Changed both batteries in both remotes after 2 years. The one I use on the weekends went low before the one my wife uses daily.

That's probably about par considering the awesome range these have. I'm surprised they don't run down sooner. Mine's still going after 2.5 years.

Battery replacement? Easy-peasy.

I'm a few months shy of three years and am just about to replace one of the key fob batteries. The other one hasn't shown any signs of needing replacement yet. I randomly use either key fob, they're both in the key drawer and which ever one I grab is the fob for the day, so no idea if one gets used more than the other.
