Radio unit connectors pinout

Hey guys!

I'm working on a project to connect 2 amps to the standard radio in CX-5 and need to know the pinout of connectors at the back of the radio unit.
So here is the picture of the connectors:

can anybody share a list of signals on each of these connectors? I find a lot of information about CX-7 units and almost nothing about CX-5. Any help is appreciated!

P.S. By the way if anyone is interested in wiring out Line-Out signals (low-level) then this post might be useful for you. It's in Russian but everything is pretty obvious on the pictures there. You can take 2 or 4 special microphone cables like Belsis BW7824 (one of the cheapest) and solder one of the cable's wire to a capacitor's pad, and another wire to a solid Ground on that PCB. Of course you also need RCA connectors (female).

Written as: Wire - Polarity - location

Radio 12V white/blue + radio, white 24 pin plug, pin 14
Radio Ground black - radio, white 24 pin plug, pin 24
Radio Ignition red/black + radio, white 24 pin plug, pin 22
Radio Illumination yellow/green (parking lights); gray/blue (dimmer) +,- radio, white 24 pin plug, pins 15, 16
Factory Amp Turn-on gray + radio, white 24 pin plug, pin 6
Power Antenna + radio, white 2 pin plug, pin 1
Left Front Speaker (+/-) brown - green or black - white +,- radio, white 24 pin plug, pins 1 - 2
On models with amplifier, the door speaker wires are brown - green/white at the amplifier above passenger kick, black 8 pin plug, pins 7 - 3. The dash speaker wires are brown - green at the amplifier, green 16 pin plug, pins 4 - 5.
Right Front Speaker (+/-) blue - lt. green or red - green +,- radio, white 24 pin plug, pins 3 - 4
On models with amplifier, the door speaker wires are blue - lt. green at the amplifier above passenger kick, black 8 pin plug, pins 2 - 6. The dash speaker wires are black/yellow - white/green at the amplifier, green 16 pin plug, pins 2 - 3.
Left Rear Speaker (+/-) red/yellow - blue/white or pink - lt. green +,- radio, white 24 pin plug, pins 10 - 11
On models with amplifier, the door speaker wires are red/black - blue/black at the amplifier above passenger kick, green 16 pin plug, pins 8 - 16. The pillar speaker wires are pink - purple at the amplifier, green 16 pin plug, pins 1 - 9.
Right Rear Speaker (+/-) red/blue - blue/yellow or gray - blue +,- radio, white 24 pin plug, pins 12 - 13

There may be a difference indeed, because I'm pretty sure that there is not "satellite radio" here.

However is it possible to list signals with connection to a specific connector? I don't see wire colors and therefore can't figure out which connectors you describe. I found this picture, but also would like to know other connectors' arrangement

The main white 24 pin plug is what you have in the picture you linked.

The pins are counted as opposed to labeled as Mazda does it. Not to bad to figure out.

Do you know if this is the same for the CX9? I have an 08 CX9 w/ Nav, Bose & Back-up cam (no DVD). Trying to find a schematic just like this for my model. Any thoughts?

Hi Max777, hope your project worked out OK. I am installing an aftermarket h/u, and I don't know what the two wires going into the green and adjacent grey sockets are for. Please can you enlighten me? Many thanks, Roger, UK.
