AWD Mazda 6

This Car & Driver article says the 6 will be available with AWD outside the JDM, in Australia and Europe. Obviously, a wagon + AWD + diesel configuration is available.

When can we get it here?

Sadly, it almost certainly will not happen. The diesel has been coming "later this year" for at least 2 years now, and the wagon has never been in their plans because of the conflict of interest with the CX-5.

We may see AWD in a Mazdaspeed 6 if it ever happens. The Mazdas we dream of having are pretty far away from the Mazdas we actually have.

We did get them here. There called the 2006 Speed6.
