2016 LED OEM Tail lights - Retro fit

My son said he has a connection to get some 2016 CX5 parts, like the led tails.

questions: anyone out there.

On VW/Audi you have to program the PCM not to error on the dash when replacing from standard tails light bulbs to led ones because of less wattage usesage, it things you have a bulb out.

on Mazda, anyone have input on replacing the rear tails with the new 2016 OEM LED ones. I am sure they made it simple to keep cost down. I know the tails will be about 400 each. ouch..

You don't need any resistor or reprogramming to put led running lights on currently. You need a resistor for led flashers. Most of the aftermarket kit's have a resistor built in. No one here has a 2016 yet. In any case, you could always add a resistor to the flasher wire if needed.
