I've had this problem ever since I installed the TWM short shifter in the car. When you get up above 20mph or so, it starts to making a whirring/buzzing (it sounds like a skate board bearing) coming from the shifter. I know it's not the heat shield, as I've completely removed it from the car. I've also verified that the shifter bolt is tight as well as the shift knob. Unfortunately the directions did not indicate a particular torque spec, so I can't say if it's torqued properly. Has anybody else experienced a similar issue with a short shifter?
