anyone have a kenwood excelon headunit?

i was wondering if anyone has a kenwood excelon headunit? i have a kdc-x596 and had it in my xterra before the protege 5 and in the xterra it had no issues however in the p5 the right channel is kinda staticy sounding on certain songs thru usb playback mode and a little on radio its only in the right channel and its both right channel (front and back) speakers, the wiring is good and it has done it on 2 different sets of speakers, anyone else experience this issue? or anyone think the headunit might have something slowly wearing out in it?

i figured it out, just certain files were doing it they are just not 100% quality mp3s as i swapped speakers and decks and still did it so im just gonna have to live with it, just glad it was not the deck as i like the excelon line
