Hey all, it's me again! I have pretty much everything lined up to get my baby back up and running. However, I've been hearing that the 2.0 FS-DE JDM Engine might require some work done on the motor mounts for it to be installed. However, the supplier I'm going with (JDM Engine Pro, in La Habra) does not have anyone that can tell me anything about this specific issue. Apparently nobody who has bought thes engines before has ever asked them about this, nor do any specific mounts come with it.
My question is, when putting a JDM FS-DE into a stock MP5 (2002, Automatic), would I have to buy new mounts, and where can I go to get them.
The engine will come with a cylinder head, exhaust and intake manifolds, and most of the hardware that is installed on them, for $650. Meanwhile my mechanic is looking into their own suppliers for any better deals.
