Hey guys,
So last year my local shop replaced both rear wheel bearings and shocks. 5k miles later when I changed the oil I noticed the left rear shock leaking. The shop replaced it again. 5k miles later I developed a creaking sound from the left rear. I changed the oil and inspected the shock. Sure enough it was leaking again. I had the same shop replace it under warranty. The creaking never went away. I took it back to the shop for the sound and they said they didn't know what it was so the greased it up. 2 weeks later the sound returned. Just yesterday (5k miles after the last oil change) Im changing the oil and see the left rear shock leaking again. Well it's at the shop now getting another rear shock and they are going to take another crack at the creaking sound.

What the heck could be causing the car to eat through shocks like this?
