Hello, im hoping to find some more information on the crankshaft oil seal.
I replaced the seal after replacing the timing chain. A couple days later i noticed oil coming from the seal. I did some research and theres suppossed to a SPRING on the seal or something like that?? I did.not.notice any spring at all. Anyone.have any more information.on that?
Reason why i replaced the timing chain ( not important at the moment) Theres a ticking noice when acceleratin the car. Only does it at the very beginning of the accelaration. Mostly.between 2000 and 2500 RPMS. comes from the timing chain side. After research it all pointed to the timing chain tensioner. Well it wasnt that, now i belive it could.be a piston wrist pin. Not sure at the moment.
At this moment im.just wanting.information on the leaking seal.
