MSP vs protege front subframe - whats the difference

Hey all,

I need to replace the front subframe on the MSP due to the in insufferable amount of tack welded bolts that have come off on it and upon pricing have seen that there's an option for MSPs in the parts list.

After doing a little research I'm not the first person to ask the question "whats the difference". As far as I know all parts on the front end of the MSP suspension were interchangeable but looking I see that there is an MSP specific part for the transverse member as well.

Can someone chime in and help me understand what makes the MSP front subframe 2x the price.

they're the same. coming from someone who swapped them.

Good question- how about the rear subrame- same or different?

They are different. Mp3/msp share the same rear cross members, lateral arms and mounting points for rear sway bar. Es is also differnt from the lx, dx due to lengths of the lateral arms.
