Electrical clicking noise when I turn steering wheel from behind dashboard

When I turn the steering wheel, I am getting a clicking noise that sounds like a relay click. It happens whether or not the car is moving. The steering system light is NOT on. Any ideas? Need any additional information?

Is it only when turning to the right? It almost sounds like the turn signal cancel cam thingy hanging up.

It was doing it both directions, but yes, for now it seems to be only doing in the one direction. Thanks for the insight!

It sounds that it could also be a wire or something from the spiral coil that sits between the steering wheel and airbag which basically provides constant contact between the moving steering wheel and the airbag harness coming from the dash.
