I am looking to buy a set of cheap used wheels/tires to run on my car, and the most common size I can find on craigslist is 205/55-16. Most of the best deals are steelies that come off of Honda Civics. What do I need to worry about as far as fitment goes? I am reading things about center bore, hub centric / lug centric, offset, and I just want to make sure I will be fine before I make a purchase. It seems like most sellers aren't comfortable with me installing a couple wheels in order to check fitment before I buy. DUMB, in my humble opinion.
Also, if you have any leads to a set of wheels for $200 or less, please send them my way! I need some new tires asap. I am currently running Toyo R888's and commuting to school. With a tread wear rating of 100 they aren't going to last much longer! Thanks for the help.
