Plastic Piece hanging from Undercarriage

Hey guys....looked under my 2014 CX-5 this weekend and noticed a plastic panel touching the ground....the undercarriage of the front seems to be a giant plastic piece except for one square in the middle, secured by two screws on either side. Anyways one side is still attached but the other side is off....wondering if this would be covered under warranty or if anyone else has experienced this? thanks.

Sounds like it may be the oil access panel. Unless a panel is physically broken, it's just a matter of a missing screw/plastic tab, or if the case of the oil panel it may have just slipped out (you kind a bend it over the surrounding panel, like tucking in a shirt and then screw it, so it may have just popped out). I don't think it's a warranty issue but if you feel the need a dealer would probably do a courtesy fixed assuming nothing is actually broken.

Did someone change the engine oil and forget to secure the opening cover?
